Nice low flying heron over the dam, Jan. That wing nearly touched the water with beautiful reflection on the water. :cam:

I managed to get a 2nd night at LS in Dec, so cannot wait to spend time at Sunset dam again. :dance:

Sunset was quite busy - Hippo, Crocs and plenty of birds

Hello all, I hope this is not a cheek but I am wanting to do a trip report during/after our trip in August, it would be a 1st time for me and I just wanted to see if I can upload pics so I found one I took last year at Sunset Dam to practice.

Kaapsedraai, that stork looks a bit lost against the huge hippos. Lol

Sparrow, yes all kinds of visitors are attracted by sunset dam. I prefer the animal kind.

yoda, looks like that hippo has his / her eyes fixed on you.
