Spent a morning watching the ferry at Sunset Dam in November - here is a short video I put together.

Watched a Goliath the other afternoon, using a peice of wood as bait, picked it up and tossed it into the water, when fishes came to investigate bang!! he helped self. Have heard of and seen the smaller herons do this, but the Goliath a first for me!

Very close Graham. One can drive up to about 3m from the water edge. Hopefully more mites will add pics.

Nicolette, you need to upload your photo on photobucket or flickr or tinypic. Tinypic is not very reliable, but I will email you an easy step by step instruction and then once you have been through that, and posted a pic, you can try moving to photobucket or flickr.
