 :slap:

So how are they managing to keep the shops in Malelane (of all places) open for these extended & very convenient hours - when they can't manage to do it in Pretoria? :wall: Usually, I struggle to find a shop open at 8:00 in the morning, by which time I've been up for three hours in the summer and I've often wished the shops would just open at 7:00 so that I can do my shopping and have the rest of the day open to do other things...

Good to know though, thanks Elsa! This means I can actually do my KNP shopping in Malelane instead of the day before in Pretoria

Biltong, biltong. I've got biltong on the brain, or stomach if you will.

We'll be meeting family for a quick breakfast and then shop near OR Tambo before hitting the road to KNP via N4, R40 (White River, Hazyview) and then Kruger Gate for Skukuza in a few weeks time.

Are there any good suggestions for a good biltong stop along this route. One I've tried and liked before was the 'padstal' within Riverside Mall, but not sure if little stall is still in operation.

The reason for the above question is to avoid the disappointment of the biltong offerings (usually very dry) from the KNP shops in my view.

Fruit and veg City have reopened as Food Lovers Market closer to Nelspruit itself, but still on the R40 (opposite Tiger Wheel and Tyre) They have yummy biltong and droe wors plus a good selection of groceries, breads etc
