I heard that Hoedspruit received 240mm in 24 hours and Nelspruit 150mm in 24 hours. Is Kruger flooding at the moment?

We are off to Shimuwini in 2 weeks' time. So if anyone can report on that camp's condition and roads leading up to it for me I would be grateful.

Similar to what happened in 2000. Moz got hammered on the one side just like now and then the rain fell here in the west leaving the water to go nowhere with Kruger stuck in the middle.

Guys, I have moved this topic to a more prominent place on the forums so everyone can keep a watch on it. There are also other topics relating to flooding that I will merge here.

Wow, thanks for sharing. I've crossed that bridge so many times and I just can't imagine it being like that.
