OK, So I have entered the Marathon and I am busy training VERY hard for this. (I am not the Fittest around.... YET!)

Once again a personal objective in my life.

Now the question that I want to know....

WHO ELSE IS GOING?

I "secured" an entry with the R800 buy in fee, has anyone else?

I do know Meandering Mouse is training for the marathon having done it several times before.

It is a half-marathon.

I expect to be there - but standing somewhere along the road with my rifle rather than running!

EJ I will rather join you than run. I have done half marathons many times in the distant past. No lion will have to catch me as I will be already dead from exhaustion.

I think you will find lots of info and advice Here or otherwise sure one of the regular runners will be able to tell you.

as far as i know, it is necessary to book more than a year in advance (unless you make a particularly generous donation to charity). i have missed the boat, but hope to run it in 2013.

LL. I had to pay R800 for my entry, but it all goes to nature conservation, wouldve paid it any ways during the year for donations, so the entry is a bonus!
