I wonder if those are the same 24 I saw on the S33. They could have wandered up the S36 to the H7.

I don't know how far the dogs range but S33 to H7, about 50 km seems possible. Twenty four dogs seems like a pretty large pack, so how many packs that size can there be? :hmz: We viewed these in early November last year.

I have heard of the Orpen pack as far South as Nhlanguleni :D
The S33 is not far further It could be them?

Nice pictures :thumbs_up: ...the Paul Kruger road seems to be the place to be if you want to see Wild dogs :lol: and that’s what we want :mrgreen:

We saw a pack of "about" 17 on Saturday on the Doispane road - about 3 KM's from the junction to the Paul Kruger Road - they looked quite thin and not as fat as I thought they should be - this really given because of all the young Impala around - one would think that they would hunt those

That is their favored area these days :D They have made kills on the S1 and S65 recently according to the updates. But they must hunt very often to feed such a large pack!
