Hi JMJ,

Have a look here for 7 day weather forecast

It depends on which part of the park you"ll be visiting. And whether there might be a cold front on it's way.

Krugerpark temperatures in June

Unread postby janosch » Tue Apr 08, 2014 11:02 am

We will be in Kruger 15-28 June. Can somebody tell me how cold it is during the night ?
And what about the daytime temperatures ? We have been in November very often, but never in June.

Hi Janosch,

We've always loved going to Kruger in June.

It is cool in the evening (but it also depends on where in the park you will be staying) and very nice during the day time.

Have a look at this topic............ Kruger weather

My experience of June has been generally very good. The temperatures tend to be surprisingly mild.

If you go on open vehicle drives, you have to dress up warmly. Otherwise, it has been a very comfortable experience.

Thanks a lot !

For what it is worth - local weather has cooled down quite a bit - temperature in the early morning around 12 degrees going up to about 28 on some days (that's not really cold if you are from inland but take something warm to wear in the evenings and early mornings (there is nothing worse than being cold and miserable )

Weather should be good till next week Wednesday

Have a good time in the Park

If you are referring to the weather in Kruger, it's rather warm to hot late Sep and October, just in case bring something warm to wear in the evenings and early mornings as it could get quite cool if it rains

Ilovenationalparks, expect hot weather, but as Carol said, come prepared for cold mornings and evenings. It will not be the norm, but if you go on morning drives/walks, or night drives, it will be cold on the trucks. So mostly prepare for hot weather, but bring a warm jacket, hat, and pants, or two.

Thank you to all who have provided a response. These forums are such a wealth of information, it's actually quite addictive.
