The best sundowner we ever had was near Bateleur Camp. This was a few years back.
We went on the sunset game drive with the ranger/ camp manager "Marc".

He stopped at a fire break after a while and we could get out to enjoy our drinks. After about five min he told us all to keep very still. All of a sudden we were surrounded by about 26 wilddogs (including pups). They came as close to about two meters from us. Some of them ran to the otherside of the vehicle and killed an impala. The one female stood infront of us and started growling.

After this Marc told us to slowly move backward and get on the truck, which we did. From there we watched them feed

I have this all on video - THIS WAS VERY SCARY & EXCITING!

Thank you! I must admit some of the video shows alot of hand movement and sounds of heavy breathing can be heard. I wish I could show you all.

I do not think that sundowner story can ever be topped :shock: :clap: :clap:
