Dear all,

One of our most long-standing Moderators - our Forum Top Rooster Bert - will no longer be able to render his services on the site.

Phenomenal negotiation and mediating abilities, lenghty practical experience in PR, and contageous passion for our National Parks are just some of the qualities that describe this hard-working Virtual Honorary Ranger. SANParks and the Forum Management will miss Bert’s contributions for a long time to come.

Dear Bert,

Thank you for everything you have done for SANParks ever sicne you became a member in January 2005. It is impossible for us to repay you for hours, days, weeks and months you invested in making the SANParks forums a better meeting place for this fervent community… All the Photo Competitions you managed… All the annual Cricket events you assisted in. We salute you for it all!

Thank you in advance for remaining a VHR, a regular member, and assisting with some projects in the future.

We wish you, and your loved ones a life filled with grace, joy, and countless wonder-filled trips to the South African National Parks.
