Glad you all like the idea ... It is way above my head to sort it out
but I think flutterby's idea would work . Blot out most of the pic and give a time for guesses..before the next piece is shown...

Toko, I posted it to show, that there does not seem to be a way of doing it. As Dotty says, probably Flutterby's way is the easiest one and will do the trick

I just had a look at a tool, Toko once showed to me. It is called Gimp (I don't know if it is available for Windows as well) and you can create a puzzle. It is a lot of work though, as one has to copy the pic several time and just whiten the single puzzle pieces. But it would work.

Katja, I have downloaded that one, but it is too much of a hassle

Micetta, it is easy to create a puzzle, but the rest is a lot of work I think.
I'm still searching for a puzzle creator, but most of them cost a lot or I cannot use them as they are for Windows only.

Nobody got a better idea than flutterby's yet????

BTW: With Gimp you can do this one (very easy) and you can open the jalousie step by step

interesting. Why not go with whatever you find easiest? It doesn't have to be the same format everytime
