a) Dig fast to get into the ground and away. F - they are exceptional diggers, but not under attack. They do use their burrows as escape tunnels.
b) Run away in a zigzag fashion to elude enemies. F - When under attack, they might run straight into bushes or trees.
c) Stand their ground and strike with their claws, tail and shoulders, sometimes flipping onto their backs to lash with all fours. T
d) Don’t worry, because their thick skin protects them. F - they are thick skinned, but this does not serve as a protection mechanism from predators, but from insect bites.
e) All of the above. F
f) None of the above. F

So I agree with Africat.

Africat

Mea culpea - I actually did forget this one!

The answers were:

a) T - Dig fast to get into the ground and away. An aardvark can dig as fast as a meter in five minutes. Not necessarily done under direct attack, but may do when the attack is not seen as that imminent or severe.
b) T - Run away in a zigzag fashion to elude enemies.
c) T - Stand their ground and strike with their claws, tail and shoulders, sometimes flipping onto their backs to lash with all fours.
d) F - Don’t worry, because their thick skin protects them. They may be relatively thick-skinned, but that ain't gonna help...
e) F - All of the above.
f) F - None of the above.

This leaves seeing who was correct, or alternatively closest...

Africat - 1
Elzet - 1
Kath UK - 2

Kathy, with 2/3, you're the closest - you're IT

Choose one or more answers:

Some species of python females incubate their eggs in which, if any, of the following manners?

A. They do not tend the eggs after laying them, as they are laid in the warmer months of the year.

B. They move the eggs in and out of the sunlight.

C. They incubate them in their specially hinged jaws.

D. They coil themselves around the eggs and contract their muscles to raise her own body temp., and thereby warm the clutch.

E. The females don't tend the eggs after laying them, as it is the males who do so.

I'd say D is correct.

Well, E is false - it's the females that incubate. And A is false as they do tend them.
B makes sense, so I'm sure that will be true in some species.
C I'm not sure of, but ostensibly there could be a species that does this.

So, let's go for B, C, and D as correct.
