State whether each of the following are true or false...

A) The grassland biome is the largest biome in South Africa, covering over one-third of the area of the country.

B) The constellation of Leo (the lion) is visible from the southern hemisphere from November to May in the evening sky.

C)Ibises and Spoonbills belong to the same family

D) All species of Millipede found in South Africa are herbivores (eat plant matter)

Yes Timepilot!! Well done.

But... the largest biome in South Africa is not the grassland OR karoo biome!! It is in fact the savanna biome!!

Over to you please...

Thanks Anthony

Hokay, here goes:

When hunting buffalo, lion have an equal chance of making the kill as they do of being ‘treed’ or otherwise chased away.

Let's take a stab and guess true, though I wonder whether they're successful as much as 50% of the time. That is unless you speak of the prides that specialise in buffalo, which probably have a higher success rate.

Way to go odessy, you're IT.

Their "strike rate" is very low - 1 in 5 is probably about right.
