Fairygirl! Glad to hear that the exams are going well and that you're almost through. You get to and keep with your books, and let us worry about the quizzes. Once you're done you can come and dazzle us with your knowledge again.

All the best for the last stretch!

BF, what the  is a 24-hour exam? :wall: You mean you write for 24 hours?? :? Are there intervals for refreshments and stretching exercises? Never heard of such a thing!

BTW, sounds like psychology you're studying?

Thank you Zettie, as usual, you are just far too kind and far too sweet!! Image

Mi Image Thank you so much! My dad says that to me all the time and yes, I agree, it makes achievements seem a little less special!!

Thanks koedoe!! You are a star!! Image

Thanks Bishie! And I am so glad you are back!! Also, I am very sorry to hear about your dogs Image

OWN Image A 24hr exam is the worst thing possible! You go and fetch the exam at the exam venue and you are given an essay-type question which you have to complete in 24hrs. You take the question and do it in your office and you have access to any resources you would like, except obviously other people. But the problem with this is that you have to reference everything which you don't need to do in a normal exam. My question was to design a study (so write a project proposal) on the effects of climate change on local communities and the way they use natural resources as a proposal to government on how to draft the national Climate Change Strategy, etc. It was painfull! But hopefully worth it!

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Not psychology!
I'm studying environmental science with a focus on the effects of humans on biodiversity and how to model new ideas to have less of an impact on natural systems in South Africa while still using the natural resources. Basically...
Study nature, Love nature, Stay close to nature. It will never fail you!

It may be due to the change on the website. Has she tried deleting her "cookies" as yet?

The instructions are at the bottom of the index, on the index page.
Imberbe = Combretum imberbe = Leadwood = Hardekool = The spirit of the Wildernis!

Yes Imberbe, she has. I think she has tried more or less everything as far as I have understood. She has even contacted the Administrator (who told her to delete the cookies  )

Depending on what browser she uses she may also have to ENABLE cookies for SANParks. SANParks places a cookie, and if the security is set that cookies are not allowed she won't be able to log on - what is she using Micetta, do you know or can you find out?
