:clap: :clap: The owlet moths or Noctuidae are the most abundant species in SA.

I just completed an insect collection and was very happy with my collection of moths untill it came time to key to family level and 95% were all noctuidae :wall:

:thumbs_up: I suppose your collection was as a result of a project you were doing for your nature studies, Odyssey? How many moths did you collect, as a matter of interest?

:thumbs_up: It was, I managed to collect 61 families of insects over all, and ended up with more than 30 moths in 3 families. In the beggining of the year I was doing a study on bats and we collected over 1000 moths with at least 150 different species :shock:
