Nope GS - this is central Kruger - but not on one of the popular gravel roads (ie S100, S39 :naughty: )

Thanks Nungu... No leaves makes it more of a challenge. I have difficulties remebering such 'donga' but I'll give it a shot, how about the s89 towards Balule? :roll:

:slap: It was taken in the dead of winter GS - hence no leaves... not near Balule....

It is a series of donga's as you say - all filled with water (or should I say mud) - even during most winters... Here's a pic taken of another donga, closer to the road and more to the left of the 1st pic... both were the same herd of ellies though :hmz:

Good question RP :big_eyes:

Maybe I'm wrong :hmz: The pic was taken on the Rabelais loop (S106) just as you cross the Makukutswane spruit. My map shows it as Rabelais pans - but they sure as heck don't look like pans - so that might not be correct... BUT no-one indicated the S106 - so no-one was right anyway... maybe someone knows if it indeed are the Rabelais pans or just casual waterholes in the Makukutswane spruit :huh:
