Here's another.

PL

As the 17th farm to be surveyed
In the Hindi tongue I was named.

The entire paradise is all around me
For all the game is here to see.
Well protected from all directions
Predators are the best selection.

A red cat watches as the birds splash and drink
Best they be careful or they'll be gone in a wink

After a quick trip to PG, the biggest 'round here since '88,
You'll get back in time - you wont be late,
Join BushBaptist, Stanely and Frankie, for a Marula perhaps,
While you also keep an eye as I quench many a thirst!!

It is in the centre of KNP - "entire paradise all around me"
Stanley and Frankel Guest Houses - "Stanley and Frankie"
The webcam - "keep an eye as I quench many a thirst"

But the give away was the "red cat" that watches as the birds splash and drink - the statuette of the caracal at the birdbath in front of the restaurant.

"PG" I could not figure out and I vaguely remember something about the name Satara - doesn't it mean seventeen?

"PG" is Piet Grobler Dam, on the Timbavati River!

"Satra" is indeed the Hindi for the "surveyor" bit!

This is marvellous!

Good going naomi c   Spot on with your answers.

@Richprins absolutely  PG does refer to Piet Grobler Dam, the largest concrete dam in the park which was completed in 1988.

Story has it that the name Satara was given to a farm surveyed there. The surveyor had an Indian servant who suggested the name, meaning in Hindi, "the 17th farm to be surveyed"

:D

I came about in very hard times
Centuries ago, but I proudly still stand.
I would certainly be ill, if my goal post, I lost!

You learn, and you see as you follow the lines,
And eventually you might see what I see in this land.

I do see the coucal, but it's not as it seems!
And the insect, as well, that runs off to be wed.
Adorning a head piece, as if in the wind!
I watch, as they welcome the hot and the tired
Who don't visit me, but them instead.
If you have stopped here, you have got it pinned.

Eish for sure  Richprins. You guys sailed thru' the first two....had to do something.

I am definately in the Kruger....is it that goal post that's confusing you? Or maybe something else? Once you know you will probably want to kick me into touch :D :D
Work really hard on the last paragraph. It will lead you to me
I will try to give clues to any questions you may have without giving it away :) :)

Ok RP you definately need some help

It's a place in the Kruger but not a camp this time.

Think really hard about the coucal and the little insect that runs off to be wed. I know you will get it, look at the map.
It's not in the south.

Maybe this will help (Hope it doesn't give it away before you get the rest of the riddle)
The Dutch mom's favourite camp is Sirheni
She insists it's her own.
