There isn't such a word, Philip. I merged google and gargantuan as best as I could. :wink:

An Astronomical Unit is approximately the average distance the Earth is from the Sun as it moves in its orbit (about 93 million miles). It is a common measure of distance used in astronomy when the distances measured are less than those of the order of light years.

If I recall correctly it is something like 25000 mph or in metric terms around 11km/s (41000kph)
