1) ID
White ringed atlas moth (Epiphora mythimnia)
2) Habitat
Subtropical bushveld and forests
3) Diet
The larvae eat Croton sylvaticus, Helinus ovatus and Zizyphus mucronata
4) Phobia/interesting fact
Relative of the worlds largest moth.
5) Have you encountered this creature
Not sure. Maybe during my insect project 3yrs ago.

Solifugae
2) What can I commonly be known as?
Sun Spider, Wind Scorpion, Camel Spider,
Haar/Baardskeerders (Hair/beard cutter in Afrikaans)
3) Can you find a story related to one of the common names
Were called hair cutters due to the fact that the female
will cut hair from a sleeping person / animal to line her
nest
4) Diet
They prey on insects, spiders, scorpions,small reptiles,
dead birds even each other

Well it must feel like having a twin - maybe an ant maybe a spider - that's just on looks

Why is that my common name?
Commonly found anong Milkweed trees ????
