Correct, DDW!

Very impressive!

Ostriches were brought into the Hlangwine antelope/rhino camp near Pretoriuskop from Namibia and other sources in the 80's, to try to get them going in the South of Kruger.

Unfortunately, a leopard took a liking to ostrich flesh and wiped them out in the camp!

This must have been an escapee.

This spot doesn't have a name, don't even know the stream's name.

Very popular road, though!

(This should keep you busy!)

Look like a stream just south of Lower Sabie (H4-2) to Croc Bridge - a little further down is the S28 road. If it is the place I am thinking off I have seen the odd hippo there.

That stream does have a name on the Tar road bridge. (Can't remember now!?...)

Good guess. This is a dirt road and a very seasonal stream.

Definitely no hippo.

Not sure really... but, if you crop out background a bit, PS out the buffs and replace by a bunch of herons, (and change the season??)... it does look a lot like this:

Jissie... that's a lot of editing, but suppose it is still the same spot, then... yes, very popular road. Pic taken at a point where most people already start looking out to the left. This pic was taken looking to the right. Ja well... depending on where you're coming from - or going to - of course.
If it's not, nice prospect for a next quiz? :P

OK, Duques, I've shown you mine, you've shown me yours!

Well done with the editing!

Getting to the crunchy bit, where are you talking about?

Coming from the North, most people will indeed be looking to turn left shortly, to look at a nice dam! And this view is to the right.

You've also identified the animal correctly!!!

(I suspect we may be on different spots, though!)

(I would suggest supplying some clues until someone gets the answer.)

I thought this might be one of those crossings on the Gudzani Rd between the S100 and Nwanetsi?

Hmm... ja, I think so too. My "just up the road view to the left" is not a dam. It's a river.

Correct, Foxy!

This is a seasonal stream a few km north of the turnoff to Mhlanganzwane Dam, on the dirt road from Lower Sabie to Croc Bridge.

This is probably, especially regardless of the time of year, one of the roads with the best visibility and best chance of seeing game in the entire Park!

(So where was yours, JoQues?)

This is a personal favourite spot of mine, just before reaching camp after a long afternoon.
