I have small eyes, solitary but occasionally in pairs, born in summer, spiders is on my food list but thats not all.

i would of thought a type of mongoose, but mongoose are not solitary. is it a small spotted genet? :D

Pangolin does not eat rodents or even spiders, they eat mainly ants and some termites.

BTW mongoose are not nocturnal.

I would go for African Civet.

....I'm widespread except Namib desert, central areas South East, my ears are also small and my legs short and strong with long claws, my body is 73cm......
