This mammal is the smallest of its kind. Dark in colour, and only has one breeding pair in the entire group.

This primate is very rare in KNP. Its omnivorous, and breed in the rainy season.

This small furry creature is even rarer. Present in KNP. Breeds throughout the year and its diet consists of invertebrates.
Listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red list (2006).
What is it?

It is terminally "rare", as in extinct!

Most guide books still record it as being a Kruger species, but I'm afraid the reintroduction in the 80's was a pipe-dream!
