I don't seem t be able to find any details about camping using a campervan. We have hired one for our trip next year. Any advice comments would be gratefully received.

Thanks Elsa, a very informative thread. Why couldn't I find it? I feel a lot happier now that I have read through the posts.

It is just a shame I have such a long wait. :|

Hi

We have been going to the Kruger since 1990 and have stayed in both park tents, bungalows and camped. Enjoy camping the most, your hear the natural sounds better.

The best advise is in fact what you said was to do a practice run close to home. Draw up a checklist of all the items you would need(remember to use it) and then enjoy your holiday.

Don't have a tow bar, so this trip doing it in style.
