Roaneric: No. 7 has table and 2 chairs + on the side 2 additional chairs to relax. But with those you cannot sit next to the table. Enjoy! Ursula

Thanks so much Johann

If you say number 5 and 6 are almost double the size, then I should probably go for one of those. We will be there during the winter, so maybe the afternoon sun will be a plus point :hmz:
Do you maybe have so pictures of number 5 and 6

It's a pleasure. Nope, sorry no pics. I usually only remember on the way to the next camp that I wanted to take pics of the accommodation. So my accommodation image folder is a bit empty. I will have a look over the weekend in the pre-2010 image folders if I can find anything. Definitely nothing recent.
Haha, ja I'm not so sure if it's ever been cold enough in Punda for me to welcome the afternoon sun. We usually try and hide from it. During the 2012 winter, temperatures in the mid-30's were recorded if I remember correctly. Either way I'm sure you'll enjoy it. My favourite camp in Kruger.

Okay so I will try for number 5. Thanks so much and I'm sure we're going to love it.

I also was visited, but only by one thicktailed bushbaby, on my first two (of four) nights in tent #1 (April 2012), while I was doing some work on my laptop in the evening. The bushbaby was very curious and came right onto the table to inspect the laptop  , but was more interested eventually in trying to get into my cupboards and rubbish bin :( Obviously had been fed by some :rtm: , but it was a treat that it was quite relaxed even with me sitting right there

(I didn't have a chance to grab my camera because I was afraid that any movement would scare the bushbaby away, so no pix, but great memories! )

Unfortunately for you, Marijke, both tents 1 and 2 have quite small decks ...

I'll be there for 2 nights at the beginnning of august (already booked)
So if I want a precise tent number ,I have to send a mail to the camp or to the central reservation ?
We are two ,for us view is very important .I'm still wondering which one I should try to request :hmz:

we were in 2 in Sept last year. Loved it - better than 1 where we'd gate crashed some friendsfor dinner the year before. (we were in very small 2 bedded room having just missed out on one of the lovely family places) We had 4 genets visit us both evenings - shy but not scared. Not a big area to sit out on though - plenty for 2 but more than 4 would be cosy. We had 6 comfortably on deck of 1 along with whole troupe of thieving vervets!
