Must agree o-dog, not mush has changed recently at Shing. It retains its old charm.

I do hope that Shingwedzi will remain like that for many years to come.

For me its gotta be Tsendze out of season!
Punda has a certain very enjoyable atmosphere that brings back the "early" days in Kruger
But anywhere in Kruger is better than not being in Kruger!!

I am sorry that Shingwedzi is damaged but it will remain the favorite of many and it will stand the test of time.

Letaba is another favorite as a person always gets a sense of “I (Letaba Camp) have been here for many years and many visitors have been enjoying the view of the ancient river from my restaurant veranda” in other words it is a welcoming camp - and a typical Kruger style camp - especially after a drive in the hot sun.

I would have to say Punda, followed by Shingwezi and Pretoriaskop.

I must say Skukuza is so commercial, its like being back in the city. We only use it as a pit stop

Lower Sabie remains our preferred caravan camping site. The multitude of animals, birds, scenery plus all the lovely sightings and enjoyable times we have experienced here makes us come back year after year for years.

Lower Sabie is hard to beat with its wonderful setting on the river, and prolific wildlife around (and big 5 opportunities). It certainly seems the hardest to get accommodation there!

For us Shingwedzi as well. Have that "old" layback atmosphere and not busy as some other main camps. And great roads around for peaceful drives.
