Hi
Going to Satara and Orpen at end of this month. We have a BD2V perimeter hut at Satara and a BD2 at Orpen - could someone let me know which is the best situated ones in each case so that I can request a specific hut. What is the best way to request a specific hut, phone or email?

I would say unit 13, 14, 15, in the A circle of Satara have the best views of the bush of the BG2 units.

Safari Gal, have a look on the Satara Map and you will be able to see which bungalows are the best.

And Orpen map

I am not really sure the if the BD2's have such a good view over the waterhole as the Family Cottages do especially # 14 & 15 but its only a short walk to the fence.

I would say phone the camp for requesting specific units, I have also used Fax & e-mail before, the problem being some of those numbers and addresses have changed.

At satara no 167 are the closest to the fence if i remember correctly. By far the best perimeter bungalow. At orpen either no 10 or 11 or 12 are nice. Far away from the gates and noise
