THey would have to build a good few more camps with STs Ndloti to get the required revenue.

I have a question regarding the safari tents - how hot are they in December? My son and I are going for 7 days in December at Skukuza and Crocodile Bridge - can't wait. It will be a totally new experience as we have never stayed in them before, but I do wonder about the heat.

If the sun is not obscured by clouds it is very hot from about 9am till midnight or even later .
You may experience a few days of overcast weather to make it bearable , otherwise keep your t - shirts wet and at night cover yourself with a wet sheet .

I don't mind the wind from inside if it is my own. Others in the tent might not feel the same way though.

Air freshener, good idea.

Or you can always blame a nearby kill from a couple of days earlier.

It can't be as bad as having to pitch your own tent though?? We have done that before, as well as caravanning. So this should be a breeze........... :)

Joao - I'll remember about that kill.....! I've requested tents by the fence, hopefully we can get them.

The tents are great - there is a big fan inside the tent and I am sure you will enjoy every minute. The tents are really stylish and comfortable, especially when you are used to pitching your own tent.

There are two tents next to the fence at Croc Bridge and four tents next to the fence at Skukuza.
