Oh, and if I may mention it, just below the Mingerhout dam, there was a place (no bridge) where you could cross the Letaba river and drive all the way to the S48 Tsenze road. It was called the S97.

I am still in the process of learning how to post a pic, so please bear with me, I will get there eventually :whistle:

Punda Milia was still the official name.

Geezz Rooies. For someone that learned a lot you sure are as slow as s&^t in wintertime when it comes to learning how to post pics.

Rooies, it's like they say, us males become humans over a weekend. Humans being a "mens" in Afrikaans. The SO will say..."Kan 'n mens dit nie so doen nie en kan 'n mense dit nie daar hang nie? Now the "mens" they are talking about are getting direct (indirect) orders. Now which one of us "mense" haven't been there before? :whistle:

But about that map, if it is a problem...send it to me via Postnet or the other one, I will copy it and post the pics and really look after it until you collect it again in person. :whistle:

I can come an collect it in Welcome by the end of the week and take it to Phala. No problem what so ever.
Only you have to come and get it in Phala Rooies. :whistle:

This one (sent to me by someone , can't recall who right now) is apparently from 1975 (?) - I cant read a date ... but it shows the S97 from Mingerhout to the Tsendze .

It looks like the same map I have got. Shawo is at the top and Gorge at the bottom of you map. Are you sure it was 1975?

The map of which Ndloti posted a part of is a later 1970s copy, I have one and it is much later map than the one posted on page 1 of this thread.
