I have driven through the border Griyondo post , but prior to this I have driven up to the border post with no problem and turned around at the post, back to Makhadzi.
No to speeding in Sanparks.

Thanks Elsa & Forestgump. I expected the road to be badly corrugated when I read other posts of the ways some culprits speed on this road. I'll make a final decision when I get to Makhadzi. Planning to do this on 27 April while in Letaba.

De- mining operations were still in progress last time I heard .
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

Hi Stoffel, interesting we were thinking the same thoughts, we are going to the park in Dec 2010, staying at Shingwedzi for the same reason , to cross over the border and to see the Mozambique side of the park. Please let us now what you found. :D
Dec 2012 - Hluhlwe Umfolozi then Swaziland then KNP
