I am really starting to see a pattern emerge, now if i could only use my pivot tables ....

S100 is leading the way... but will the s25 or the H10 catch up?...stay tuned folkes

Here's my attempt.

Considering I never been above the Olifants this is a bit biased but anyway.
1) S65 (Great scenery with sightings to match)
2) S28 (Always been kind to me. Best road in the park for white rhino and have seen Duke twice along this road)
3) H10 (Great views and plenty of game in the area. A bit of a hit or miss road though)
4) H4-1 (Purely because i've seen 5 leopards in my last two visits to Kruger along this road.)
5) S114 (especially Biyimiti wier area)

Spending alot of time in the Satara area in two weeks so this might change!!!

More than overdue

S28 - You will get all or nothing
H-4-1 - Although high traffic always a great drive
S100 - Just because of there is always something to see
S50 - From Shingwedzi up to Dipeni and back because of the view as long as no elephants are around
S99 (Mahonie Loop) - Always awaited us with a surprise

Hey there GG. Satara is great.

I suggest a day drive up to Letaba and back from Satara.

Love N'wanetsi too. There are so many options from Satara and I notice that the thick tailed Bush Baby we saw there has taken up residence in the rafters in the admin complex.

One of the reasons we are plotting a return trip there soon. Probably August, even September. Will see how the planning goes.

One day you might add the s100 to that list of your GG....search your feelings GG, come to the dark side..

My top 5 are:

H 4-2 Best spot to enter Kruger is Crocodile bridgte and enjoy the road to Lower Sabie. Usually see good sightings (as if the Park sends out the welcoming committee)

Saletjie Road can be fruitful and always beautiful

H1-2 Always eventful and many stories to share at Tshokwane

H 7 Satara to Orpen Lion and Hyena patrol this area


S 100 Can be magic

Hope to be there in September!!! Can't wait

The S25 is an awesome road as it feeds the addiction if just want to quickly go in and out of kruger, pity about the outside developments going on across the river...

My top 5:
1) S28
2) S100
3) S52
4) H2-2
5) S56

Hey...a couple of us always heve these arguments when we in the park......We would like to know due to your personal sightings and experiance which are the best roads and regeons for you...these dont have to include big 5 sighting......as you can see from my name ....doispan is the best for me? how bout you guys

well just be looking at what the forumites voted, I would say that the s100, s28 and h1-4 probably rates as you most famous drives as of late.

The s28 part south of the s137 is indeed very rewarding, drove it twice, and twice I did see 3 cheetahs

What?? you drove, saw the cheetahs, stopped. Then drove a little further and then stopped again to look at the cheetahs from a different angle?

Actually no WTM I think you're just jealous, but I'm confident enought to pronounce Lower-Sabie as the Cheeatah camp...

There are no cheetahs in Kruger. We all know that.
