Where is the best view in Kruger?

For me as follows:

1. Nkumbe Viewpoint
2. Olifants Camp
3. Mlondozi Dam / Picnic Spot
4. Mopanie Camp overlooking Dam

Location: Red sand, why do I keep thinking of red sand?
1. Tshanga
2. Olifants lookout on the S44
3. Olifants deck
4. The view over Engelhardt Dam from the dam itself.
5. Klopperfontein

However this is based on personal experience, and influenced by the people I met, sightings, light (for photography), and ambiance. Could be quite a different list after my next visit...

Sneaking in one as number 6: the S63 to and including Crooks corner.

4.The bridge over the Olifants River where one can get out of the car and watch all the animal goings on 8)
3.Bobbejaanskrans (preferably on the way into the Park, not the way home  )

5 Stolznek Dam watching hippos

6 Mestel dam with Shabeni Koppie reflected in it

7. 05h15 on the S114 and seeing a young female leopard lying in the road staring at you as you stop 50-80 metres away and admire the sunlight on her dappled coat as she gains your confidence and gets up after 5 minutes and stalks closer for a better view....Lump in the throat stuff man.

1. Olifants at sunset with a HUGE electric storm - very educational, being able to watch lightning at its best!

2. Kruger Rocks. (Don't know where it is, but sounds good, Jaco!)

Verrrrrrry nice you lot! Now let's have views with animals.

Letaba restaurant is the only one above that consistently has game.

Try Matambeni hide,

Msemani dam

Grootvlei.

The best view must be Lanner Gorge. Unfortunately it's located in the Makuleke Contract Park of the KNP so it's only accessible to guest of private lodges in the Makuleke.
