I am sure like many forumites here, we are all passionate about the Kruger. One thing I have noticed, is that there is no comprehensive google earth KMZ file with the relevant waypoints.

I have started with one with the goal of making it the most comprehensive file available. But for that to happen, I need input from the rest of the forumites here. The goal is to have it categorised, in such a way, that everyone will be able to use it, you simply hide the groups not relevant to you.

Finally to have informational data in the waypoints. A good example is ratelpan hide, which although is a hide, is not the best, and at kanniedood, there is restricted parking and the best time for photography is in the afternoon, as the sun is behind you, and you need about 20min to get back to camp...

This way anyone and everyone can use it as tool.

At the moment it is incomplete, but I have made it available as a work in progress with the aim of using forumites input to hone it.
Please also pm me should you find any errors. I have gleamed of some points off some of the files I managed to find here, and recognition goes to people like madach whose waterholes I have used.

All main Roads up to Tshokwane done.
All waypoints from Pafuri down to Shingwedzi checked.

How about making it a publicly-accessible map on Google Maps?

Hi Gilbertr14, great idea and a job well done. In the Numbi Gate area you can add Shabeni Koppie, Pretorius Koppie and then also the Pretorius grave site?

Another interesting point on the H2-2 (Voortrekker Road) is the old endangered breeding enclosure and then on the link road from Shabeni Koppie to the H1 road one can mark and view the grass research plots and enclosure.

Keep up the great work. This is a very usefull tool.

Hello Josh, may well do so later, so that you don't need google earth to view.
