Have you watched the live cam, Stark ?

I haven't yet, but will. I saw the pilot was underway.

I share my love of knp and my experiences all the time, but nothing will help me make other enthusiasts decide to visit better than seeing what the park has to offer like a live cam. I will be sharing and pointing folks to it. Someday I should become a travel agent.

Thanks Matthys. It's amazing how many globetrotters I work or associate with that have no idea how easy SANParks makes it to visit and be self-sufficient. Off-topic, I know, but the ease of use of KNP is a big selling point. Cams showcase what "is out there" right outside your door.

I remember watching the sun rise on the normal cams while I was waiting for my first trip to KNP back in 2009. It was magical to see what was coming down to drink and thinking "I'm going to be THERE". And that was with still photo's. It's addictive. Streaming a livecam is even more-so. (I remember watching a waterhole when I think NatGeo had a cam up. Listening to hippo bellow and splash helped introduce my youngest Starkling to what he was going to experience.

Unfortunately my work network won't let me connect. I'll check it out tonight.

I've been watching webcams for years but the coincidence of updating to super fast broadband and a live webcam at Orpen proved the spur to register. Fantastic achievement to get this up and running and am enjoying it so much
