Hi - I've been watching the cams for 2 years now (only in the day time) and I've never seen a leopard - that doesn't mean there hasn't been a sighting though. Besides we live in hope .. . .

Thanks for the date Chirinda

It was saved by Lionspoon - the Leopard Queen of the Cams!

Hi The Bush Boy :yaya:

Very nice to see you on the forums! :D

Yes - the hyena and her pups have become a regular... for me - my favourite picture of them so far was when Danie zoomed the camera in for us, and we got heaps of these photos:

Here is a pic of her with her cubs:

Must be nice for them to have a pool of water that they can cool off in - without having to worry about crocodiles! Shame that they aren't very good at sharing the water with the other animals :naughty:

Incidentally, lovely cammers - we haven't named the hyena and her pups, yet... :hmz:

:yaya: Melrockson and the Bush Boy, and a warm welcome to the (highly addictive) cams, BB :D

How about Hilarie for the mom?

And the pups? Knowing how hyenas smell, I vote for Squirt and Scooby!

Be tough to tell them apart unless Danie can give us frequent closeups :D

Happy camming,

Hi there

@MRO your pictures are unavailable on Photobucket :(

@The Bush Boy - look through Satara October & November 2010 posts there are lots of the Hyaena and her pups

@H & M - Buffalofreak named them, when he/she was at Satara Mom is called Fluffy and the pups are called Fang & Norbet. .

Quote:
Yep, that's my "Fluffy" and her kids "Fang" and "Norbert". I have been following "Fluffy" on the webcams since 2009 and then followed up with a visit to Satara. This year I was waiting for her on my 1st night back at Satara (13.10) and she did not dissapoint me. You'll find her patrolling the fence every night from about 18:00 and the two small ones are patrolling with her now. "Fang" is a good beggar, lies down in front of the fence like a dog and look at you with a sorry face. The two small ones are still very fluffy and have dark spots.

Panekoek. Yup, over on Addo - the rhinos you see there are all blackies - no whities down there.
