Thanks grannyb that's good to hear
Maybe it's official business rather than webcam photo-bomb tourism

I'm also curious. Has anyone found out what it's about yet?

Hi Guys,

We have been told that that is a MSc student who has permission as she is looking at how animal drinking behavior is affected during variable weather.

The title of her MSc is "Utilisation of artificial waterholes in Kruger National Park: Contemporary seasonal patterns and Climate Change and Management Implications"
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

I wonder if this is something to do with what the people on the cam this morning were looking at :hmz:
Possibly a camera trap?

It's to do with the research I posted about a short while earlier.
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

Hello, Lovely Cammers :yaya: :yaya:

I haven't been so active posting lately but have enjoyed the captures posted by all y'all!

In two sleeps  we begin our long-awaited and exciting journey to Augrabies and KTF, entering Augrabies on 31October. I will have a yellow ribbon and will be driving a Hilux (at least that's the plan)

Rooiputs, Mata-Mata, Swartpan and many other campsites await us, including Nossob, where I will no doubt want to stay awake the entire time - I have dreamed of being at Nossob for so long. That's what the cams will do to a person! :D

While seeing the big cats is of course a draw, the very feel of the desert is what I crave, and every little bird, big bird, mammal large and small, insect, spider, sunrise and sunset, will be deeply loved and appreciated.

:gflower: thanks for making the cams such a welcoming place, and I hope to see one or two 'mites on the road.

Best, Hailey
