 Post subject: Where does he get this feathers from?

This nest is on of 14, 'my' weaver has built'this year so far. Seems, he - or she??- did not like it. However, where do the feathers come from? Is he a killerbird?

I would have thought that they just collect them, when they are lying around, as well as twigs and other materials.

However I am no expert.....so will wait for the "big guns" to respond. :thumbs_up:

You haven't given any information of where you live, or where the nest is kjii, so we cannot help unless we know what part of the world/country we are looking at.

I've watched "my" weaver collect grass, twiggs and feathers, also the fluff from the dogs toys.
