Hi guys I need some help Identifying this bird:
Image

No piercing yellow eye so not brown snake eagle....doesn't seem to have a long gape so not the steppe eagle

I'm guessing maybe tawny or lesser spotted eagle? Any assistance:)

BTW: I seem to be having problems posting replies on the tapatalk app, I can post fine on other forums except this one for some reason, anyone else experiencing this?

I started taking birding more seriously when I thought an immature bataleur was a tawny eagle and it was proved otherwise by a friend you don't want to lose a bet to.

BB is correct, the bare facial screen and short tail(BTW, it is also known as a Short-tailed Eagle) are both good indicators.
