Needing help with this one please

I am sure it is a Thickbilled Weaver :? However I am not sure if it is supposed to occur here, according to any of my bird books....which must all be very special editions, I might add  because I can never positively id birds from them

Seen on our property - NW Prov. 40kms from Magaliesburg towards Koster (on the Botswana Rd) and approx. 40kms from Rustenburg.

Not a brilliant pic, sorry.... but I only had one shot at him.
Thanks!

For sure a Thick-billed Weaver
Massive bill, white spot on wing and white forehead on dark body is diagnostic, as far as I know

Nice.
I've seen them in the past on Melville Koppies and at the Florence Bloom Bird Sanctuary at Delta Park

Seems we have two paring couples exploiting

Please could someone help me with this. I was walking my dogs in the Cradle area when I heard a bird making a racket of note. Unfortunately it flew off before I could get a clear shot.

I spent quite a long time watching this weaver collecting nesting material at Lake Panic.
