I at first thought that this was a familiar chat, but now, looking more closely, particularly at the tail, I'm wondering whether it might be something else? Seen in KTP in early November 2012.

My guess would lean towards sicklewinged chat, but they're not supposed to occur in KTP?

Here's another that has me puzzled, is it perhaps a juvenile Kalahari robin? :hmz: Seen in KTP in early November 2012.

Is this a Tawny Flanked Prinia.
It was seen at Lake Panic a few days ago.
Thanks.

Thanks BB.
Mom and Dad were feeding 2 chicks in a nest in the reeds by the Lake Panic hide.
I have to say it was Elsa who showed me the nest, and suggested the ID, as she had seen it a day or so before.
It was amazing to watch them bringing food.

There is no ALBJ section (Aquatic LBJ) so I will post here and hope for the best.

It was caught on film at Mhkombo Dam in late Jan. Shorter than a Black-winged stilt with a body about the size of a Cape Turtle Dove.

Any ideas?
