For me it was a choice between Great or Yellow-billed egret. My answer of Great egret was based on the fact that its gape extends behind the eye (as in the photograph), whereas the Yellow-billed egret’s gape ends just below the eye (according to my SASOL Birds of SA book) :hmz:

Along with the longer neck the bill of the great egret is also longer and heavier than the yellow-billed egret.

So what is the correct answer. Greater or yellow Billed Egret. I thought it was the Greater Egret. Can someone confirm.
