We saw Secretary birds on a few occasions this August/September - will have to get out the sightings book to check where we saw them.

Stunning pics! They really are photogenic aren't they?

I looked back at our sightings book but we only recorded one of our sightings :slap: on the S37.

In 2010 we recorded a sighting on the Shimuwini private road.

We didn't realise they were so uncommon in Kruger.

Saw 2 Secretary birds in the Satara area during our May/June 2014 trip.
One had made a kill... Raptor swooped down and tried to steal it.

Was wonderful to observe the interaction and view the behaviour displayed by them.
