The Yellow Wagtail does occur in Kruger sporadically (i.e in times of good rainfall, also remembering that it is a Palearctic migrant visiting SA only in summer). Apparantly in Kruger you can find them at overgrazed areas around man-made dams (source-excellent new book Roberts Bird Guide Kruger National Park and adjacent Lowveld by Hugh Chittenden and Ian Whyte)
There are however much more reliable sites to see this bird and if you are based in the Gauteng area-Rooiwal Swage Works have been very reliable. Kgomo-Kgomo floodplain and Marievale are 2 other sites I know of.
