Tagged Marabou

Unread postby Nyoni » Sun Jan 04, 2009 1:16 pm

Hello all. On a recent trip to the Kruger park, we came across a Marabou stork with a yellow tag in its wing. Havnt been able to find any info on a tagging program, and was just wondering if anyone has any info on it, or who to contact.

The folk at Moholoholo Rehab Centre are also involved in following tagged birds - Marabou storks and Vultures. They can be contacted on 0157955236. Try to give as much info as possible on position, condition of bird, what it was doing, other birds present - as well as tag number of course! If you are able to send them photos too they would appreciate it.

Thanks for the info. If you have an e-mail address I would appreciate that. Have moved overseas, so would like to e-mail all the info to them. It would be interesting to find out more.
