I though Bateleur as well, because of the light streak in the wing, but the rear part seems too long for it? :?

Lionspoon, that's exactly what I thought. The greyish looking part could be white and that would indicate an Bateleur. Well, maybe we get some more opinions. :lol:

Have you enlarged it? In the second pic it looks like it has a light streak on its head as well.
I've been running through my reference book up and down, but don't have an idea what it
might be. :doh:

Black/Yellow-billed Kites?

Shape and stance looks right, along with the pale wing panel.

One of the birds looks to have a pale bill? But could be just the light behind?

That sounds feasible! :thumbs_up:

Had a look at my bird book again - no surprise I didn't take the kites into consideration: the yellow-billed one is a shot from the front, so no streaks visible. :twisted: And the black one seemed to have to much light parts on its head (in my book that is), but looking at the quality of the cam pics :roll: , I should have been more attentative. :whistle:
