HI,

I AM ARRIVING AT SKUKUZA FROM 21ST DEC - 25TH DEC, THEN ON MY WAY TO CROCODILE BRIDGE CAMP UNTIL 28TH DEC. :D :D

BOOKED A SUNSET DRIVE FOR XMAS EVENING. :D

I NEED TO KNOW WHEN I GET TO SKUKUZA, DO THEY HAVE A BIRDING LIST AVAILABLE AS WELL AS CROCODILE BRIDGE.

I HAVE NOW GOT A BIRDING BOOK, AND AM A AVID BIRD WATCHER ON ALL OUR PREVIOUS TRIPS, BUT HAVE NEVER BOTHERED TO IDENTIFY BIRDS UNTIL OUR RECENT TRIP TO OLIFANTS. :

Hi Vida,

I don't know if there is a special birdinglist, but when you are in Skukuza,
take the time to visit Lake Panic. Beautifull place, darters, herons, water thick-knee, bitterns, kingfishers and so on .
have a nice trip. :cam:

Ruud

Must say 'Vida' is a great name for someone who likes wildlife.

Try the below URL and its associated links. Think these should
cover most of your needs/desires:

Have a great visit to KNP.

I think there is a specicific list for KNP available in the camps
A nice handy little field guide for Kruger is Newmans Common Birgs of the Kruger National ParkISBN186812 741 9 I don't think its readily available in the shops any more. I got mine at a 2nds book dealer. It has a birding list for Kruger at thea back
