ok, i have been to pafuri since i was 8 months old and me and my familey have not seen it once!!!!!!!

Don't feel left out Batmad - I have also never seen Narina Trogan or Pels. :cry:

I have seen Pelicans and Crested Guineafowls :dance: :dance:

Very nice sightings, and both in Kruger!!! High 5 :clap: (It's the closest I could get)

I took both the photos, the gulls been cropped as you can see :) Did you manage to go through and see it at Centurion Lake??

I went there twice and not once manage to see it. WTM and others have seen it there, early morning and late afternoon. I have been there mid day... There is a thread on it

I had a broken leg, and had to bum a lift there...cause I couldnt drive :D Got there at about 12, and It was roosting amongst the Grey Head Gulls...Had to leave at 3, and it was still there, but swimming around feeding....Not the most interesting bird to watch...But definately a once off oppertunity...Sorry to hear you missed it.

As far as I know....It unfortunately isn't(Last sighting I know of was the 7th of this month) :) But I may be wrong.

PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE.

Go to areas bordering Mozambique and near Swaziland in KZN...

...you will find the following of which the Narina Trogon was the only one snubbing me:

Narina Trogon;
Crested Guineafowl;
African Broadbill;
Pel's fishing Owl;
White-breasted Cuckooshrike
AND...
...Neergard's Sunbird.

I have been there enough times and only seen the guinea. the others go on holiday to warmer places when i arrive :roll:
