You should be able to find them throughout Kruger, but the areas with woodland and riverine forest is best suited for them as habitat.

In the forum thread for the puffback nannie posted a nice photograph of a displaying bird. Quite clear why its also called a "sneeubal", the Afrikaans name that was directly translated into "snowball" confusing you guys and gals (it seems, just a little bit :lol: )

Sometimes the Afrikaans names are just superb in sketching the main characteristic of our birds! :wink:
