I'm not sure where my original post is... but I'm guessing it got "cleaned" into another thread...

Unfortunately I don't have either of these birds in flight. It was a really rainy day and there were lots of raptors still sitting in trees and reluctant to move... I'm not sure why I didn't snap another of the eagle that is taking off - my guess was that the rain got in my way... and I was renting a lens.....

Here is the one bird again... the lesser spotted eagle????

And here is the other...... another LSE???

Thanks Hilda - but that was another much older photo of a raptor that I posted.... I still don't see my original post of these eagles!

Jaytea, the only other post of your eagles that I found on the list that I am still busy moving to the specific eagle topics after they were ID-ed, (this one was not positively ID-ed yet, that's why it had to be moved back the this thread), was posted on 1 August. If you are looking for an earlier post, it could have been ID-ed previously and moved to the specific kind of eagle's topic. Unfortunately I will never be able to remember whose pictures were moved where after they were positively ID-ed.

Jaytea your first raptor is a Lesser Spotted Eagle.

Looking at the other pics now, the second raptor looks more like a Wahlberg
