Dear forumites
Would you agree these eagles I photographed at June 4th in KTP, in the Aoub River Road, are Booted Eagles?

Hi Charbel

They are both Tawny Eagles. Remember Booted eagles are migratory, and won't be around in June.
I wonder if this is the same pair I saw along the Aoub River 2 weeks ago. It was a dark and light morph Tawny just like these 2 and I saw them in more or less the same spot 2 mornings in a row.

I apologise for misleading you charbel. The booted in my Sasol looks pretty much like the lighter bird in your pic, and the wings look narrow to me, but I have seen lots of tawnies in KTP and not ID'ed any booteds there.

No problem, it looked pretty much like a booted as depicted in my guide too. But biogeographical data do not fit really. And Tawny Eagles were really a usual sighting in KTP.

Cheers
Charbel

Whereabouts did you see this bird and what time of year Ndloti?
but my first thoughts pale morph Tawny Eagle.
