Where and when did you photograph the birds, cfraser?

2. I'd go with Tawny Eagle.

Where & when is important for 1-4.

Some tricky ones here, but I'm going to give it a bash. I haven't checked any books yet, and these are just first impressions:

excellent work guys! I was way of course haha!

I cannot give you exact details of the locations, as they were taken by my father.

However, in January 2013 he was staying at Tamboti, LS and Pkop (So more South of the Park)

and the pictures taken in April 2012 were more Central/North of the Park towards Tamboti and Mopani

Identification Help - Raptors

Unread postby sarafl » Thu Jun 13, 2013 10:11 pm

Hello Everyone. I would like some help identifying some birds from my last trip. All of the following pictures were taken in late May/early June on roads near the Hippo pools in Kruger. Thank you in advance for your help!

1. I have no idea what it is

Correct on all counts, except no 1!

Juvenile booted eagle perhaps.

Thanks everyone for the fast replies. So to be sure I have it right here is what the pictures probably are of:

1. No idea or juvenile booted eagle (unfortunately it is the only photo I have and obviously not the best)
