Two brown raptors we are uncertain about , seen Berg-en-Dal last weekend. Quality of pics not great as I had to crop quite a bit.
First one had different shades of brown and when the vultures arrived it was not bothered.

Second one all brown and then took off.

Basically narrowed both down to either Tawny or Lesser spotted eagle for both. But not sure?

Hello! Any identification ideas on these? All pictures were taken in Kruger this month (February).

2. Near Letaba- a Tawny Eagle?

Goronta, yours looks like a juvenile tawny eagle.

Hello all
So I was driving up the S40 towards Timbavati picnic spot last week and I was regretting it because the road was badly corrugated and nexct thing, right next to the road this bird sitting on a stick. I cant find it in my Sasol app. and I dont know how to do any more research so I wonder if anyone can give me the name of the bird please. Sorry about the quality of the pics.

I'm wondering if it isnt a juvenile whatever it is because it didnt fly away at all. Could it be some kind of snake eagle because of the woolly legs?

Cheers - Ed
